The Hesperia ROP Cosmetology program held their annual Fantasy Competition on Sept. 13  for Back to School night. Cosmetology students are judged in four areas: hair design, nail technology, make-up, and costume. The twelve teams of competitors were judged by three industry professionals.
 
Congratulations to the first place overall winner: Gorgeous—Monstrosity (pictured back row, third from left). Competitors were Blanca Lopez, Emily Innis, Antonia De La Cruz and Kylie Sloncik. Best Hair Design winner: Alice in Wonderland. Competitors were Lindsey Toleson, Baily Stark, Andrea Lopez and Maria Zepeda. There was a tie for the Best Nails winner: Centura and Alice in Wonderland. Centura competitors were Yvette Marquez, Michelle Castaneda, Monica Pinto and Pilar Zavala. Great job to all the students who participated in this event.
